A 2D Platformer with a focus on Accessibility & Family Friendly Gameplay, Play as Boleon the Slime, a time-manipulating Slime creature who has lost his exhaustive collection of magical hats. Explore levels to find Boleon’s hats, unlocking their magical potential along the way!

Games Design

  • Helped Design the core concept of the game. Built around a focus on Accessibility.

    • Used my experience learnt whilst working with people with disabilities, I prioritised building accessibility mechanics into the core gameplay loop. This way the games accessibility mechanics are built into every player experience making all players feel equal and not pandered to.

  • Worked Collaboratively in a team of 6 to brainstorm player ability and puzzle ideas.

    • Designed 6 different ‘Hats’ with their own unique abilities while equipped and unique ways to be used in tandem.

Technical Design

  • Helped our Programmer in Technical Implementation.

    • This included helping with UI Widgets & Menus, Traps, Player Animations and Sound Implementation.

  • Worked with a fellow designer to create Level Design building blocks in-engine for other designers to use when building levels.

Art & Sound

  • Created a variety of textures for the player character, items and environment.

    • This included alternate textures for the character that could be used as ‘animation’ when Boleon is moving.

  • Recorded, Edited, Created and Sourced a multitude of Sound Effects (including the use of Voice Acting and Foley).

    • Also created Music for the project.
